We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our Warehouse Team at Canadian Tire Hillside (Store 365). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are received, verified, stored, and transported to the sales floor or the warehouse in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving and Processing: Receive, scan, verify, and store all incoming and overstock products according to established procedures and policies.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, identify and report discrepancies, and ensure that all products are properly stored and secured.
- Warehouse Operations: Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and power jacks, and ensure the safe and efficient movement of products throughout the warehouse.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals, share knowledge and expertise, and support each other in achieving individual and team objectives.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment preferred.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Certifications: Forklift certification and experience with warehouse management systems an asset.
