Job Title: International Tax Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced International Tax Controller to join our team at Ardonagh Advisory. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the International Tax Provisioning process, working with non-UK businesses and auditors, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the International Tax Provisioning process, including reviewing quarterly tax reporting of non-UK businesses and developing governance and educating businesses around tax reporting requirements.
  • Support systems implementation of CbCR and Pillar II, and act as Super User for same.
  • Support non-UK businesses tax forecasting and collating same.
  • Prepare current and deferred tax calculations for non-UK businesses to support delivery of quarterly and annual Group tax accounting and tax reporting to Senior Management.
  • Deliver and submit CbCR reports.
  • Review non-UK corporate tax returns and payments.
  • Work with shareholder tax advisors to ensure US tax elections are maintained.
  • Support line manager and wider tax team as required.

Requirements:

  • Tax and/or Accountancy qualifications (CIOT, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • IFRS tax accounting experience.
  • Line management experience (1 direct report).
  • Demonstrable experience and proficiency with managing International Tax Provisioning process.
  • Experience in using tax and/or accounting systems as well as Microsoft Excel.
  • Preferably experience with implementing systems.
