About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to Amazon Corporate employees, ensuring that they have access to the technology and services they need to perform their jobs effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical support to Amazon Corporate employees, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  2. Hardware and Software Deployment: Deploy and support Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems, as well as other hardware and software solutions.
  3. On-Site Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair complex integrated systems, such as large conference rooms, training rooms, and executive rooms.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Work with on-premise IT technicians, contractors, and integrators to troubleshoot and repair equipment, and communicate with manufacturers and vendors to arrange repair or replacement of faulty equipment.
  5. Knowledge Management: Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant IT policies and procedures to provide technically accurate solutions to users.
  6. Documentation and Ticket Management: Create and maintain documentation, and manage ticket queues to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  7. On-Call Support: Provide on-call support for Sev1 and Sev2 incidents, and handle escalations from Level 1 support.
  8. Process Improvement: Follow, update, and create standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve the team's knowledge management and efficiency.
Requirements
  1. Technical Experience: 1+ years of experience with Windows Server technologies, including AD, DFS, Print Services, and SCCM.
  2. Troubleshooting Experience: 2+ years of experience troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
  3. Hardware and Software Support: 2+ years of experience supporting and maintaining corporate networks, including Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
  4. Education: High school or equivalent diploma.
  5. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of computer networking experience, and experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment.
