Job Summary:

The Senior Business Application Analyst is a key member of our Application Support team, responsible for leading investigations and in-depth data analysis to resolve application issues and inquiries. This role requires a deep understanding of the logic and functions of the applications used by our business partners.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a successful Application Support team within the organization, working closely with the Manager to achieve team goals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) capabilities, including transaction monitoring, customer risk rating, watchlist management, and regulatory reporting.
  • Provide advanced analysis and specialized reporting to support business partners, functional areas, or centers of expertise.
  • Execute complex and non-standard requests, such as audits and regulatory exams, requiring a high level of technical expertise.
  • Provide guidance and assist the team in incident management, considering business risks and impacts.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience to meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • Seven or more years of relevant experience in application support and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods, and reporting techniques.
  • High proficiency in SQL queries and MS Excel.
  • Strong ownership mentality, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to take on complex challenges.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior audiences.
  • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
