We are currently in search of a Transportation Coordinator to enhance our operational efficiency. This position will play a crucial role in overseeing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan and manage the transportation of finished products, ensuring timely deliveries to various locations and estate wineries.
- Collaborate with transportation providers to adhere to daily shipping timelines.
- Oversee and coordinate the daily schedule for incoming components.
- Manage daily inbound deliveries from couriers and other suppliers.
- Facilitate the transfer of finished goods and components between different branch facilities.
- Execute daily transfer transactions using JDE.
- Report any discrepancies to the inventory management team.
- Maintain and monitor delivery schedules to ensure compliance with timelines.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Completion of Secondary School Diploma.
- 1-2 years of experience in transportation or logistics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with databases.
- Strong multitasking capabilities.
- Keen attention to detail.
