As a manager on this innovative team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the evolution of Amazon's software abstractions. Your focus will be on making service creation and management easier for engineers, ultimately contributing to the development of the world's leading continuous deployment and fleet management system.
Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a talented engineering team of developers.
- Drive the design and implementation of cutting-edge software solutions within the Apollo platform.
- Collaborate closely with product and program management teams to define and deliver impactful features.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence within your team.
We are looking for individuals who possess a strong technical background and proven leadership experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
- 7+ years of direct experience in software development.
- 3+ years of experience in system design.
- 8+ years of experience leading web services development projects.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering best practices and patterns.
- Proven ability to work effectively with product or program management teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience communicating technical concepts to both users and senior leadership.
- A track record of successfully recruiting and managing high-performing software engineering teams.
