About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Manager to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development of software solutions that enable Amazon to Hire and Develop the Best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of software solutions that meet Amazon's hiring needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps and strategies for software development
  • Manage and mentor software development teams to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Partner with product and program management teams to define product vision and roadmap
Requirements
  • 10+ years of engineering experience
  • 5+ years of engineering team management experience
  • Experience partnering with product or program management teams
  • Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience with DevOps practices
