We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth in the Steel Industry. Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Work with our senior management team to develop and manage goals, systems, business plans, and operating budgets to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Lead and Manage Sales Team: Provide leadership, training, and development for Inside and Outside Sales Representatives to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Liaise with Branch Manager and Purchasing Manager to ensure sufficient product is available to meet customer demand while meeting corporate inventory goals.
- Collaborate with Operations and CAD Departments: Work with Operations and CAD departments to ensure profitability on metals processing orders.
- Minimum 3 Years Sales Management Experience: Proven experience in sales management within the steel industry, with a strong track record of driving sales growth and profitability.
- Strong Analytical and Time Management Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
- Effective Communication and Leadership Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve their goals.
- Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration/Marketing or Metallurgy: A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Metallurgy, or a related field.
- Previous Purchasing Experience: Previous experience in purchasing, with a strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain logistics.
