Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to join our team. As an HSE Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, subcontractors, and clients. You will be responsible for conducting health and safety orientations, performing site inspections, investigating incidents, and coordinating health and safety training sessions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct health and safety orientations for new employees and subcontractors
  • Perform site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Investigate incidents and handle related claims
  • Coordinate health and safety training sessions, including orientations, WHMIS, CPR/First Aid, and specialized training
  • Monitor employees and subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Provide coaching and support to project managers, supervisors, and workers on HSE requirements
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and improving HSE programs and processes
  • Prepare and submit monthly safety performance reports to management
  • Manage relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment and engagement on HSE matters
