About the Role

Prairie South School Division No. 210 is seeking a Casual Facility Operator to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of schools, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and unclogging drains.
  • Assist with special events and projects, such as setup and teardown of equipment and furniture.
  • Work collaboratively with other facilities staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
