Position: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)

Set the benchmark for excellence as an Industrial Mechanic. Your proficiency with machinery and equipment, coupled with a commitment to quality and continuous enhancement, guarantees the smooth operation of our facilities. You are adept at interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints, and prioritize safety in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment Adhere to established protocols, standards, and participate in safety audits and regulatory assessments Execute facility repairs and offer technical assistance to operational teams Conduct routine maintenance inspections and evaluations Fabricate small components utilizing plasma cutting and welding techniques

Qualifications

Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certification with Interprovincial Red Seal At least three years of experience in an industrial environment or related service work Proven expertise in industrial machinery, particularly grain handling and processing systems, along with a solid grasp of welding, rigging, and mobile equipment operation Ability to interpret schematic diagrams, equipment layouts, and construction plans
