Job Title: Industrial Mechanic and Millwright

Rahnmet is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment, including fans, blowers, gas and air dryers, gas compressors, hydraulic systems, and industrial and stationary engines.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection.
  • Construct foundations for machinery and fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up.
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and install machinery and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification.
  • Construction Millwright Trade Certification.
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement.
  • Welder Trade Certification.
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced industrial environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands. The ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with heavy loads is required.

Language:

The primary language of work is English, but proficiency in French is an asset.
