Director of Advancement Opportunity

St. George's School is seeking a seasoned Director of Advancement to join its Senior Leadership Team. As a key member of the school's Advancement Committee, this individual will lead a dedicated team of professionals in major gifts, annual giving, special events, communications, and alumni relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase philanthropic revenue and advance the school's mission and reputation.
  • Lead a team of 11 professionals in major gifts, annual giving, special events, communications, and alumni relations.
  • Serve as an ambassador for St. George's School, demonstrating the role and importance of fundraising and community relations.
  • Work closely with the School's Old Boys' Association to advance alumni relations.
  • Collaborate with the Head of School and Senior Leadership Team to achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of increasing philanthropic revenue and expertise in capital campaigns.
  • Success in securing major and principal gifts from within a sophisticated, complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Warm and engaging leadership style with a reputation as an outstanding team player.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy, respect, and humility when connecting with stakeholders.
