About the Role

Michelle Broqueza is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring clients receive the necessary care.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Companionship: Engage in activities with clients, such as exercise, reading, or hobbies, to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Safety and Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies, such as falls or medical incidents, and provide first aid when necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.

  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift and move clients with care, up to 45-60 kg (100-132 lbs).
