Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Compassionate Care Home & Hospital Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Assist clients with feeding and meal preparation
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients
  • Assist clients with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Perform other related tasks as required
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Child Abuse Registry check
  • Adult Abuse Registry check
Work Environment:

The Personal Support Worker will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, and will be required to travel to different locations.

Working Conditions:

The Personal Support Worker will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Education and Experience:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is required. Experience as a Personal Support Worker is an asset.

Language:

The language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The hours of work are 32 hours per week.
