Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving duties and related inventory tasks, including ordering, unpacking, verifying, storing, and distributing supplies for designated departments.

You will also prepare goods for dispatch by completing necessary documentation, packaging, and coordinating courier services. Additionally, you will verify shipping orders and address any discrepancies as needed. You will assist in the distribution of parcels to various facilities and act as a liaison with the Corporate Logistics and Purchasing Departments.

Typical Duties Include:

  • Ensuring departments are adequately stocked with supplies and delivering items as needed.
  • Ordering both stock and non-stock supplies according to established levels; checking on backorders; receiving, unpacking, and verifying all non-stock materials; reconciling invoices with orders; resolving discrepancies, and completing related documentation.
  • Assisting with uncrating and organizing inventory. Rotating stock and maintaining cleanliness and order in inventory shelves and storage areas.
  • Assembling, issuing, delivering, and shipping supplies based on requisition requests, with assistance from the Maintenance department as required, and recording charges to the appropriate department.
  • Identifying and returning damaged or spoiled goods to suppliers; coordinating with the Biomedical Department as necessary; arranging for the delivery and return of loan items; completing relevant documentation.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
