Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Powerhouse Engineer to join our team at Labatt Breweries of Canada. As a Powerhouse Engineer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our ammonia, CO2, compressed air, cogeneration, boiler, and steam systems in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain ammonia, CO2, compressed air, cogeneration, boiler, and steam systems
  • Effectively operate HVAC/chiller unit for proper ventilation and cooling
  • Perform preventive maintenance routines and repair completions
  • Update maintenance documentation
  • Respect plant policies (safety, environment, quality, operations)
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid 2nd class engineering certificate
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Powerhouse Engineer in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge and experience with hydraulic or pneumatic equipment an asset
  • Good understanding of PLC troubleshooting and programming
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with ability to work with limited supervision
  • Excellent sense of urgency, work ethic, and attendance record
