Aviation Risk Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Risk Specialist to join our team at Aon in Vancouver, BC. As an Aviation Risk Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering innovative and effective solutions to our clients in the Aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the 120-day Renewal Process, including preparing the renewal report, presenting to client for approval, acquiring the binding order, reviewing policy documentation and delivering to client in a timely manner;
- Collaborate with colleagues in Vancouver and throughout Western Canada to identify specific client and prospect needs and develop innovative and cost-effective solutions;
- Ensure all procedures, internal client documents and correspondence are in compliance with Aon audit standards;
- Coordinating / providing oversight to the account team and establish client service plans that prioritize the account activities and profitability in a value-based approach for the scope of services required;
- Developing new contacts and establish relationships with prospects that align with the Region's/Branch's acknowledged targeted industry or segment groups;
- Acting as the visible face of Aon to the clients/prospects in the community, working to consistently prospect and facilitating lead generation activities;
- Participating in industry-sponsored events and maximize opportunities to become involved with various industry committees;
- Minimum 10 years commercial risk experience, with Aviation related experience considered an asset;
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a broad range of audience;
- Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the ability to multi-task;
- Level II license required; or ability obtain within six months of employment;
- Consistent track record of prioritizing tasks under ambitious timelines;
- Strong digital literacy and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Package;
