Aviation Ground Supervisor

Job Summary: Unifi Aviation Canada, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Operations Supervisor to join our team in YYC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe movement of aircraft and ensuring the efficient operation of our airport facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team: Supervise a team of airport operations personnel responsible for aircraft movement, safety, and maintenance.
- Aircraft movement: Ensure the safe and efficient movement of aircraft on the airfield and in the airline partner's hangars.
- Safety and risk management: Conduct regular safety briefings, risk assessments, and quality inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communication: Liaise with dispatch coordinators, supervisors, and duty managers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of aircraft movements.
- Equipment maintenance: Ensure that all equipment used during the shift is properly maintained and inspected.
- Customer service: Provide excellent customer service to airline partners and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Must hold a current YYC D/A AVOP and be able to obtain a YYC DDT Permit and Radio Operator Certificate.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong focus on safety and customer service.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in airport operations or a related field.
