Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance to stakeholders on all legal matters, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and existing legal team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support strategic leadership on all business development and commercial matters
  • Create standards and processes for drafting agreements and mitigate contractual risks
  • Manage legal risks effectively and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide guidance and support to legal staff on all legal inquiries and requests
  • Source external legal support and manage contractual relationships as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Law (LLB) from an accredited Canadian university and current membership with the Law Society of Alberta
  • 10+ years' experience in Corporate and/or Contract Law, with a background in Leasing and Financing
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Aviation sector
