Lead Integration Project Manager

CB Canada is seeking a Lead Integration Project Manager to oversee and execute comprehensive integration initiatives.

Position Overview

The Lead Integration Project Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders within the Integration Management Office (IMO) and IT Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of integration project objectives. This role encompasses the planning and execution of project activities while managing resources to meet established goals regarding scope, budget, timeline, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Collaborate with business leaders and technical teams to define integration project plans and necessary investments for seamless operations.
  • Deliverable Management: Oversee all project deliverables, including scope, schedule, budget, and anticipated benefits.
  • Resource Negotiation: Identify and negotiate resource requirements with both internal and external delivery organizations, setting clear expectations and evaluating performance.
  • Accountability: Ensure timely execution of multiple concurrent projects while adhering to performance criteria.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage stakeholder communications throughout the integration process.
  • Facilitation: Foster collaboration between Business Teams, IT Technical Leads, and Project Delivery Staff to ensure alignment in project delivery.
  • Implementation Planning: Plan and facilitate project implementations, including dry runs and 'Go Live' activities to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Risk Management: Timely escalation of significant issues and risks to leadership.
  • Change Management: Ensure Organizational Change Management activities are completed to promote integration adoption.
  • Support Transition: Plan and oversee the transition to support to ensure operational readiness.

Financial Oversight:
  • Adhere to IMO processes regarding deliverables and compliance.
  • Maintain project financials, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring timely submissions.
  • Monitor and control all aspects of project delivery in line with best practices.
  • Prepare presentations for senior management on project scope, schedule, budget, and status updates.

Team Leadership:
  • Provide clear project leadership, setting goals and recognizing team contributions.
  • Conduct lessons learned sessions to foster continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new business processes.
  • Experience in delivering integration projects during significant business transitions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and Excel for project planning and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Advanced project management expertise across various domains.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience.
  • PROSCI Change Management certification is a plus.

Business Unit Specific Requirements
  • Strong understanding of contract management and process improvement.
  • Experience in delivering successful business and IT projects.
  • Knowledge of SAP Ariba is advantageous.
  • Ability to measure and track Key Performance Indicators.

Integration Skills:
  • Support Subject Matter Experts in operational design and planning.
  • Identify risks and dependencies in integration activities.
  • Experience in delivering disciplined operational projects, including technology transitions.
  • Knowledge of the transportation sector is beneficial.
