Senior Financial Integration Specialist
CB Canada is seeking a Senior Financial Integration Specialist for a contract position.

Position Overview
This role requires a highly skilled professional to oversee the accounting integration processes associated with acquisitions. The focus will be on the Medical Aesthetics division, serving as the key point of contact for financial consolidation and analysis of non-integrated entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between acquired entities and internal departments regarding finance-related integration issues.
  • Serve as the primary contact for bookkeepers of non-integrated acquisitions on accounting inquiries.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for Medical Aesthetic clinics, coordinating meetings with finance and operations teams to assess current capabilities and identify improvement areas.
  • Maintain an updated master schedule and summary of Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) entries across all acquisitions.
  • Review financial statements of acquired entities to ensure compliance with PPA entries.
  • Prepare and review reconciliations related to pre and post-acquisition activities, leading the finalization of Purchase Price Adjustments.
  • Compile monthly consolidation schedules for the Medical Aesthetic Division for the Financial Reporting team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting submissions from clinics.
  • Conduct initial variance analysis against budget and collaborate with clinics to understand discrepancies.
  • Support operational analysis within the Medical Aesthetic division, including the development of compensation models for clinic staff.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc tasks as required.


Required Qualifications

  • CPA designation is mandatory.
  • A minimum of four years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Post-secondary education in accounting or finance from a recognized institution.
  • Experience in preparing financial statement consolidations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to positively influence others.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex issues clearly and tactfully.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including PPA entries and valuation concepts.
  • Familiarity with small business and owner-managed enterprises.
  • Knowledge of the medical aesthetics sector.
  • Experience with Netsuite.
  • Fluency in French, both written and spoken.
