Role Overview:

The Senior Program Manager will be a pivotal figure, overseeing the execution of significant technology transformation projects that engage various product and service delivery teams across multiple business sectors and relevant stakeholder groups.

In the immediate future, this role will act as the primary liaison and leader for all Enterprise Technology Projects within the Integration Management Office (IMO), focusing on M&A&D related initiatives. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and planning a strategic integration roadmap that aligns with the visions of interim and end-state operating models established by the General & Administrative divisions of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the IT Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Integration Management Office (IMO), providing technical insights to the IMO Enterprise Program business sponsors.
  • Establish governance frameworks for complex technology integration initiatives, ensuring collaboration among multiple group companies to achieve program success.
  • Identify and strategize key technology initiatives necessary for enabling transformative business changes, coordinating with non-IT Program and Project Managers to outline portfolio-level sequencing and critical paths.
  • Develop execution plans with Project Managers for key initiatives, including work breakdown structures and cost models, while working alongside technology vendors and departmental leaders to create resource plans.
  • Oversee technology programs from inception to completion, managing program schedules, milestones, and critical paths, as well as tracking risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
  • Manage interdependencies at the program level, providing insights that may inform external portfolios.
  • Ensure effective communication with program sponsors, stakeholders, and executive leaders across all impacted group companies.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex program deliveries, recommending mitigation strategies and corrective actions as necessary.
  • Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture and Business Strategy teams to ensure alignment of key initiatives with technology strategies and enterprise priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology or Engineering.
  • Certification in Project and/or Program management frameworks (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2) is required.
  • Experience with Agile and Product Management certifications is advantageous.
  • Over 10 years of experience in delivering large-scale, complex technology projects across various technology solutions.
  • Proven experience in leading business transformations driven by technology.
  • Experience managing programs within Enterprise and Corporate technology portfolios.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and provide updates to sponsors and operational teams.
  • Experience working in enterprise environments with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with regulatory technology requirements.
  • Experience in M&A&D, particularly in enterprise-level integration or divestment programs.
  • Experience with ServiceNow's Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules is a plus.
  • Technical background with the ability to critically assess technical feasibility.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to lead Agile and Lean methodologies as needed.
  • Experience in product delivery, service management, and project execution.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Architecture practices.
  • Ability to coordinate and mentor delivery teams in a complex environment.
  • Capability to work independently while managing multiple project deliveries.
