Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team at Emergent BioSolutions. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the production of pharmaceutical products according to the production schedule.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment as required, ensuring a sterile environment for production.
  • Perform water sampling and EM sampling as needed, maintaining the highest standards of quality control.
  • Manage inventory of consumables in the cleanrooms, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing waste.
  • Follow all written procedures according to GMP standards, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in process activities with technicians, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the production team.
  • Assist with competency assessments and training, ensuring team members have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Report to the production supervisor on their designated shift, maintaining open communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent is required; pharmaceutical manufacturing diploma is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience is an asset; previous experience working in a regulated environment is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow standard operating procedures, protocols, work instructions, and other policies/procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a group environment or alone, with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge or ability to learn pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability and flexibility to adapt to and complete shift work, including days, evenings, and nights.
  • Able to work on ladders or at heights when required, with the ability to lift and move materials/equipment when needed.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and criminal background check, with reliable transportation to work on-site.
