Manufacturing Associate Role

Emergent BioSolutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our specialty pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute and document procedural steps in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) standards and other regulatory requirements.
  • Operate machinery, assemble and disassemble equipment as required, including vial washers, depyrogenation ovens, steam sterilizers, and freeze dryers.
  • Perform product sterile filtration, filling, and capping operations.
  • Escalate problems, concerns, or deviations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain production areas in a tidy, 6 sigma (6S) standard, including cleaning and sanitization of work areas.
  • Identify and communicate process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmaceutical manufacturing diploma or bachelor's degree in science considered an asset.
  • Previous experience working in a regulated environment considered an asset.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow standard operating procedures, protocols, work instructions, and other policies/procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a group environment.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to adapt to and complete shift work, including days, evenings, and nights.
