Job Summary

Foster a culture of excellence in operations by assuming shift leadership and coordinating manufacturing, environmental monitoring, and equipment cleaning in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and champion process improvement initiatives.
  • Assume shift leadership role and direct the activities of other Manufacturing Technicians to meet production schedule requirements.
  • Design manufacturing process studies and report on findings.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams and lead the implementation of routine and complex process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform root cause analysis, initiate and author Standard Operating Procedures, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain training and competence on Technician and Lead Technician level job tasks.
  • Execute and document procedural steps in compliance with cGMP standards.
  • Coordinate with Quality for manufacturing hurdles and provide potential actions to remediate issues.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmaceutical manufacturing diploma or Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering considered an asset.
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience required; previous experience in a regulated environment required.
  • Knowledge of cGMP and CFR requirements.
  • Ownership, accountability, detail-oriented, adaptable, and effective communication skills.
  • Able to work on ladders or at heights, lift and move materials/equipment, and pass a pre-employment medical and criminal background check.
