The Leasing Administrator plays a crucial role in the success of our apartment community by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth leasing process for prospective residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for showing and leasing apartment suites, qualifying prospective residents, and providing a superior level of service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Encourage appointments or viewings with prospective residents and provide them with a comprehensive tour of our available suites.
- Qualify prospective residents to determine their needs and suitability as candidates for leasing.
- Process rental applications, conduct credit checks, and verify employment history to assess credit worthiness.
- Follow up with new residents to ensure satisfaction with their suite and determine if they have further needs.
- Utilize our property management system to record transactions and run various operating reports.
- Maintain an overall focus on enhancing the customer experience and hold open houses to showcase our community.
Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in sales or leasing apartments is an asset.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong command of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Self-starter with high degree of initiative, creativity, and flexibility.
