Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Manager to join our team at Shipload Transportation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement efficient transportation plans to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Manage Finances and Budget: Oversee financial aspects of transportation operations, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Recruit and Manage Staff: Hire and train transportation staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure all transportation operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Negotiate with Service Providers: Establish and maintain relationships with service providers, negotiating rates and services to meet business needs.
  • Oversee Vehicle Scheduling and Dispatch: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatch of vehicles to ensure efficient transportation operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a transportation-related role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week.
