Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Mac's Pizza Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained, and implement procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
- Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service, and make decisions to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Physical Capabilities: This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Personal Suitability: We are looking for a dependable, organized, and team-oriented individual who can work under pressure and manage their time effectively.
- Free Parking: Free parking is available for staff.
- Work Term: This is a permanent role.
- Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
