About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Canada Royal Milk. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives
  • Lead a team of 5 HR professionals to deliver HR services and programs
  • Provide guidance on employment law and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Manage HR systems, including payroll, benefits, and performance management
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement organizational change initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with union partners to negotiate collective agreements
  • Provide coaching and counseling to employees on HR-related matters
  • Conduct investigations and resolve employee complaints
Requirements
  • University or college degree in business, HR, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in HR, with relevant investigation and labour relations experience
  • 7+ years of people management experience
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of employment and labour laws
  • Experience with payroll and HRIS platforms
Assets
  • HR designation such as CHRP or CHRL
  • Bilingualism in English and French
