Senior Human Resources Director Opportunity at Palmer & Associates

We are seeking an experienced senior Human Resources professional to lead our HR department and drive strategic initiatives that align with our organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement HR programs that support business objectives and enhance employee engagement.
  2. Collaborate with senior leadership to champion employee initiatives and priorities.
  3. Coach and develop HR team members, implement performance management, succession planning, and change management strategies.
  4. Oversee department budget and analyze agency staffing costs.
  5. Lead or coordinate marketing and communication activities for our organization.
  6. Administer and negotiate collective agreements.
  7. Support wellness and workplace safety programs and goals.
  8. Promote a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and open communication.
  9. Ensure organizational compliance with regulations by implementing necessary policies and procedures.
  10. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices.
  11. Provide expert advice, guidance, and coaching to employees and leadership teams.
Requirements:
  1. Strong NFP Human Resources leadership experience.
  2. Proven success in enabling a positive labor relations environment.
  3. A strategic, accountable, business-focused team player with excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  4. Able to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  5. Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  6. University Degree, HR designation, and 10+ years senior HR leadership experience.
