About the Role

HyLife is a global leader in food processing, and we're seeking a skilled Swine Technician to join our team in Leroy. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out feeding programs to optimize animal growth and health
  • Weigh and sort pigs for transport, ensuring efficient and safe movement
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and general farm duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Recognize and treat livestock health issues promptly, ensuring the highest standards of animal care
  • Maintain accurate records of livestock performance and health

Requirements

  • A self-motivated attitude and strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability to work rotating weekend shifts
  • Minimum 1-year swine tech experience (an asset)
