POSITION OVERVIEW

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the upkeep, servicing, and commissioning of computerized automated building control systems, specifically in HVAC applications. Technicians will operate under directed tasks, focusing on the maintenance or installation of VCI Controls systems across various locations. It is essential to have Canadian citizenship to obtain the necessary government security clearance for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of experience in project execution within the construction or building automation sector, with a solid understanding of building automation systems and the construction landscape.
  • A diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Automation Technologies, or at least 1-2 years of experience in automation and/or HVAC. Proficiency in PC/computer operations is required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and personal transportation.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Effective planning and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient in problem analysis and resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative work environment.
