Job Title: Security Supervisor

Scarlet Security & Risk Group (SSRG) is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a security team in a healthcare setting. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage security personnel and ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage security staff during shifts.
  • Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring full coverage for all shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with site security protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Write detailed incident and shift reports.
  • Monitor and manage security systems, including alarms and cameras.
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain regular communication with property administration and staff.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must reside in Yellowknife, NT
  • One year experience as a security supervisor
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with security management software
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick decisions
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Valid first aid certificate is an asset
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Fluent English language
  • Must be able to pass a criminal record check
Schedule:
  • This position will work 12-hour shifts
