As a Systems Integration Consultant at Bluedrop Training & Simulation, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) training solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineering, software development, and production, to effectively integrate various third-party technologies into our simulation offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and set up systems in accordance with vendor specifications.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system setup and configuration processes.
  • Assess and recommend hardware and software solutions based on project requirements.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and develop effective solutions.
  • Liaise with technology vendors to provide comprehensive system support and resolve technical issues.
  • Engage in the design, development, and documentation of system architecture.
  • Execute feature, regression, and integration testing across all simulation products.
  • Offer both remote and on-site technical support for deployed products.
  • Travel to client locations to deliver hands-on technical assistance.
  • Facilitate training sessions for customers and field support teams.
  • Conduct product demonstrations as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications for Success:

Essential Skills:

  • At least 2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
  • Familiarity with software system concepts, including operating systems and networking performance metrics.
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows operating systems and experience with GUI-based applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to timelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various teams.
  • Willingness to travel for product support and customer training.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of networking principles and concepts.
  • Experience in software and system testing.
  • Background in software development is advantageous.
  • IT support experience, particularly in troubleshooting networks and software.
  • Familiarity with VR or MR technologies and commercial hardware.
  • Experience with military simulation platforms such as Virtual Battlespace 3/4 (VBS3/VBS4) or ArmA.
