Vascular Surgery Associate Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Associate Physician to join our Vascular Surgery team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our vision of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in patient rounds and assessments, working collaboratively with the Vascular Attending and other care team members.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in response to changing patient conditions, in consultation with the Attending staff.
- Perform and document admission history and physical examinations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and medication reconciliation as per CPSBC and organizational standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other care team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Medical degree from a school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools.
- Minimum of two years of accredited postgraduate training as a medical or surgical specialist, verified by the CPSBC.
- Successful completion of Part 1 of the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) or Steps 1 through 3 of the United States Medical Licensing Examinations (USMLEs).
- Eligible for registration with the CPSBC in the Associate Physician class, under sponsorship by Fraser Health Authority.
- Demonstrates leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous.
- Professional/Technical Capabilities: Demonstrates knowledge and skills to diagnose and manage common medical problems, including expertise in vascular surgery, anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. The ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
