About the Role

The Vice President of Marketing will provide leadership and oversight in defining and directing Baptist Housing's overall strategic vision and direction relating to all communications, media relations, marketing, advertising, and sales. This role will give leadership to our brand positioning in the market, monitoring the senior's living space and adjusting strategies accordingly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide mentorship to marketing teams across multiple Baptist Housing locations, ensuring cohesive brand management and the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Craft and implement marketing strategies that encompass corporate communications, public relations, advertising, and sales programs, all designed to elevate our brand and engage key audiences.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships, drive media relations, and ensure that all marketing activities align with Baptist Housing's mission and vision.
  • Enhance our organization's reputation, foster team development, and support our goal of being recognized as a leader in senior care.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications
  • Minimum of 8 or more years of marketing and communications experience
  • Experience in marketing housing for seniors is an asset
  • Public relations and advertising campaign experience
  • The Vice President - Marketing is a position of Christian ministry and Christian leadership within Baptist Housing. As a member of the senior leadership team, the person holding this position must sign and adhere to the Statement of Faith of Baptist Housing.
  • Some travel will be required to carry out work duties between our communities.

Compensation and Benefits

A competitive salary with a range of $133,000–165,000 per year and a benefits package that includes employer-paid extended health and dental coverage, 6 weeks' vacation, up to 7% RRSP matching contribution, and support for professional development.
