Job Title: Bookkeeper

At Focus Foods Ltd, we are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring the general ledger and financial statements are up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • 35 hours per week
  • English as the primary language of work

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
