About the Role

Matrix Camps and Logistics is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Expeditor / Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Yellowknife. As an Expeditor / Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Management: Disassemble, test, clean, reassemble, and re-pack equipment for deployment, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Supplier Management: Interact with suppliers on a daily basis, expediting outstanding purchase orders, and verifying receipt of materials.
  • Inventory Management: Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, resolve shipment errors or shortages, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Logistics Coordination: Meet client deliverables by expediting suppliers and materials to job sites, and ensure all staff work safely and practice safe work practices.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with submitting timesheets, ensure transportation protocol is followed, and provide general labor support as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in an expeditor role, with trades experience preferred.
  • Skills: Above-average Microsoft Excel knowledge, purchasing and data entry experience, strong communication skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid Class 5 Driver's License, Level 1 First Aid Certification, WHMIS 2015, and Forklift License (an asset).
