Garden Centre Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Garden Centre Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire - Mill Woods. As a key member of our garden centre team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of garden centre staff, and ensuring the efficient operation of our garden centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of garden centre staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Manage garden centre inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products.
  • Visual Merchandising: Create visually appealing displays and arrangements to showcase products and enhance the customer shopping experience.
  • Sales and Revenue: Meet or exceed sales targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a garden centre or retail environment.
  • Specialization/Experience: Pricing, sales experience, and exhibit and display design experience.
