Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure a well-stocked pantry and fridge
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to keep the home tidy
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents to promote positive behavior
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children to stimulate their development
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to ensure the children receive a balanced diet
  • Supervise and care for children to ensure their physical and emotional well-being
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children to promote a positive and supportive environment
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate to ensure the children's safety
  • Vulnerable sector check to ensure a safe and secure environment
  • Flexibility, initiative, and reliability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks to ensure a smooth day
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children in a home setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents and children
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices
Work Environment:

The Child Caregiver will work in a home setting, providing care and support to children in a non-smoking environment.

Work Schedule:

The Child Caregiver will work 30 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the children and parents.

Language:

The primary language of communication will be English.
