Job Title: Child Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team at Fei Shang. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure a well-stocked pantry and fridge
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to keep the home tidy
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents to promote positive behavior
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children to encourage learning and development
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to promote healthy eating habits
  • Supervise and care for children to ensure their physical and emotional well-being
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children to provide a nurturing environment
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate to ensure the safety and well-being of children
  • Vulnerable sector check to ensure a safe working environment
  • Flexibility, initiative, and reliability to work effectively in a home setting
  • Experience an asset, but not required
Work Environment:

As a Child Caregiver, you will work in a non-smoking home environment with a maximum of 30 hours per week. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care and support to children.

Language:

The primary language of communication is English, and proficiency in English is required.
