Vaughan Metal Polishing Limited is looking for a dedicated Metal Finishing Assistant to enhance our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the metalworking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize metal finishing machinery to eliminate excess welds, rust, and other contaminants from metal surfaces.
  • Safely transport materials across the facility using powered equipment.
  • Manually handle raw materials and finished products within the plant.
  • Immerse metal items in specialized cleaning solutions.
  • Support fitters, sheet metal workers, and machine operators in their tasks.
  • Sort and categorize metal sheets, scrap, and other materials.
  • Employ hand tools to grind or chip away excess metal from products.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machines and work areas.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials from vehicles.
  • Polish metal items to achieve a high-gloss finish.
  • Interpret and follow work orders accurately.
