Trade Support Analyst

Societe Generale is seeking a skilled Trade Support Analyst to join our team in Montreal, Canada. As a Trade Support Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trade capture and transaction modeling processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Model complex exotic transactions and negotiated events in our information system, under delegation of the Front Office
  • Control the quality and completeness of the information entered
  • Analysis and regulation of breaks raised by Middle-Office Control and other parties involved in the Front to Back chain
  • Coordination between the Front-Office and other support functions on the processing of requests for information and problem solving
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in finance or financial markets
  • First experience in financial markets is needed, in order to master the financial products and the processes
  • Deep knowledge and practical skills in Excel, VBA and financial mathematics
  • Good inter-personal and partnering skills, a 'team-player'
  • Demonstrate initiatives, solutions oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a dynamic, deadline-focused environment
Language:

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
