Amazon Business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Manager, Public Sector Sales to drive Go-To-Market strategy for Enterprise, Government, Non-Profit, and Healthcare customers. This individual will manage an organization with cross-functional ownership of Sales and Product, while influencing the Marketing, Tech, and category teams, and other partners supporting Amazon Business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Go-To-Market strategy for Public Sector customers, including Spot/Bulk buying and RFx/contracting initiatives.
  • Manage an organization with cross-functional ownership of Sales and Product, while influencing the Tech, category teams, and other partners supporting Amazon Business.
  • Define and implement long-term business strategies and products based on industry trends and competitive analysis.
  • Drive change across organizations and deliver excellent results within a strong and talented team.
  • Build and scale org-wide initiatives, including sales leadership and team management.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience, with a strong track record of driving business growth and leading high-performing teams.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications, CRMs, sales and marketing automation tools, and eLearning tools.
  • Experience managing teams, analyzing data, and best practices to assess performance drivers.
  • Experience hiring and leading sales or account management teams focused on acquiring and managing Enterprise customers.
  • Experience conversing with senior customer stakeholders, including Directors and VPs of procurement, CPOs, VP's supply chain, and CIOs.
  • Experience selling to large, medium, and small merchants and successfully delivering a multi-million dollar sales quota.
