Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Hampton General Store. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are meeting sales targets
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Authorize returns and exchanges, and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, and provide guidance and support as needed
- Manage cash and maintain a high level of accuracy in all financial transactions
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent exposure to cash handling and customer interactions. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
