As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel and conference facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with other departments, including maintenance and front office, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze guest feedback and service metrics to inform process improvements.
- Recruit, train, and develop housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a senior housekeeping role in a hotel or resort setting.
- Post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of hotel systems, including Opera, is an asset.
