What will you do?

  • Support project manufacturing activities to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement detailed plans for project-related manufacturing tasks, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Coordinate tasks for manufacturing preparation, including procurement and inventory management.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing, identifying areas for process optimization and implementing changes.
  • Provide technical oversight on project tasks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Guide the team through technical challenges and non-conformances, promoting a culture of collaboration and problem-solving.

What will you bring?

We are looking for:

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, with a strong background in project management and technical operations.
  • Expertise in manufacturing techniques, welding, and inspection, with a focus on quality control and assurance.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training in Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Previous experience in the nuclear industry, preferably with CANDU reactors.
