About the Opportunity

This is a challenging position that will require a good background in cross-disciplinary, technical project execution. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential to be successful in our team-based environment. You will possess problem-solving skills and a creative yet methodical approach.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting delivery of project manufacturing activities and deliverables to ensure customer commitments are met.
  • Detailed planning for manufacturing activities related to project deliveries
  • Coordination of tasks related to preparation for manufacturing activities (ordering of tooling, fixturing, consumables, etc.)
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing operation
  • Support the execution of manufacturing activities on customer projects by providing technical input/oversight on planned tasks
  • Lead the manufacturing team members through emergent technical challenges, including the assessment and dispositioning of manufacturing non-conformances

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing techniques, welding procedures or specifications and associated inspection techniques.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, experience working effectively in a team environment.
