Job Title: Welding Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Welding Machine Operator to join our team at TECHPRO INDUSTRIES INC. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, reading and interpreting welding blueprints, and performing various tasks related to metal fabrication and repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Perform tasks such as interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, and operating brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions
  • Flexibility, organized, and hardworking
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a confined space with noisy conditions, and will be required to wear personal protective equipment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The position is permanent, with 32 to 35 hours of work per week.
